I am not your typical photographer. Starting life as a scientist with very little awareness of creativity but a strong love and urge to spend as much time outdoors as possible, photography came from endless walking and a thought I should be capturing some of the natural beauty I was lucky enough to grow up surrounded by in rural Oxfordshire, plus the bonus of having the stunning Oxford city as my touch of urban life.
Having spent over 20 years documenting weddings and continuing my love of nature, I have also shot professional product shoots, motorsports, model shoots and tonnes of street / travel photography.
Now based in the gorgeous Exmoor National Park which covers parts of Somerset and Devon, I am spoilt for choice with rugged wild spaces in both Exmoor and Dartmoor as well as endless valleys with rivers which I never get bored of spending time exploring and shooting in.
